The photos on the ad on Craigslist WERE NOT OF THE ACTUAL CAR, and the car has been sititng outside for 5 years. Also the turbo was in the back seat, so the car isn't going to start without work.

Still, there are only ~900 82' 931s in the US so I consider myself lucky for finding one at all.. I'm going to for a full restoration with a complete engine rebuild in the summer. This is the first Turbo I've ever owned so its going to be interesting. I'm aiming for 200hp (stock 155, euro with higher boost is 177) which should be attainable.

Yeah, compression is only 8.0:1, so you can crank up the boost quite a bit. Factory boost is only 7 psi. 82s all have knock sensing ignition.
