Should I sell my S2 and

If you can find a nice 964, I would say go for it. It is a completely different monster but I think you will be happier with it. I just did my first DE with my 993 and I can't go back. The S2 will go on sale as soon as the snow in Mn melts. I have had the S2 since 97 and have buit it to a very competitive F class car, no expense spared. After doing a DE with my virtually stock 95, I can't wait to start adding track goodies to it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
Cheers!

Well the firebird is gone. Dead presidents are in the house and the car with my plates left about 10:30 this morning. What a wierd feeling. I picked the car up in Nov 1976 and sold it Jan 2006. 29 years with the same car. La lalalala
On to the next toy!!!!

Wait one second...you've only put 1,000 miles on your S2 since you bought it in May 2004?!?! Your poor neglected car!!!
I vote sell the S2 to someone who will drive it, and buy a Ferrari. F-cars are notorious for being garage ornaments.
As far as the BMW option...PCA events don't allow guests with other makes of automobiles? That's kinda uppity IMHO. We would always invite a few guests on track days, just to mix things up and make things interesting. If you could still DE with your buddies, a ragtop 3 might be fun.
Though not as fun as a Miata I'm sure.
