After seeing both the Redline bar and Autopower next to each other, the only one I would purchase is the Redline.
I purchased and installed the Autopower bar in my 951 and was not impressed with the mounting points.
. . .just my $.02

The Autopower and Redline have different philosophies;
The AP is designed to keep you safe in a roll, and to pass racing regs. The problem from my viewpoint is that they seek to do this by mounting to two of the weakest parts of the entire car; the floor and the rear wheelwells, both thin, non reinforced sheetmetal. That is the precise reason I designed my bar some years ago. I wanted a bar for me, and didn't like what I saw.
The Redline bar is designed to go in and out easily, mount the belts solidly, make use of exisiting reinforced points, and require no mods to the car. Notice the difference? I make no roll over claims. Will it help? Probably. The thing the racing groups don't like is the 4 bolts. That's fine, but someday I'd like someone to prove to me that mine is "weaker." I'm not so sure! If you race you should have a cage, anyway. Mine fills a unique niche, and very nicely.

Thanks for all the input. As for roll bars, the PCA (National or local (SDR)) doesn't care what you use for TT's because roll bars aren't a requirement for participation in a TT, hence running TT's in my S2 without one. So the Autopower and Redline roll bars would "both" be acceptable for TT's.
Racing a S2 is a totally different situation and yes I would put a PCA approved roll "Cage" in m car and weld it in.
I'm only looking for more confidence in the TT's so it looks like I have two options: Redline and Autopower, although AP has an advantage that they're 20 miles away. I was just looking for a used bar.
Thanks again.

The Redline rollbar looks good - just four (4) bolts? I can't tell from the pix. Tifosiman-pix would be good since we have identical cars (model only).
John (Redline) any in stock?

I just looked and realized that I can't install a Redline roll bar in my car since I deleted my rear seats and laid carpet over the seat belt holes.

i guess I'm having a hard time understanding where the bar mounts to the floor? or is it the seatbelt fasteners on the floor?

It mounts to the seatbelt mounts, both on the floor/seat area and the C-pillars. Both areas are re-inforced from the factory so I am more confidence-inspired with this than the autopower and other hoops. I wouldn't trade my Hajny Hoop for any other, the only reason I would remove mine would be if the car became a full-time DE car or racecar, in which case a full cage would be needed (and the car would no longer really be much of a street car).
If the photos that Dan and Sam didn't post weren't helpful, let me know and I can snap a few more this weekend.
