I hope I'm not the only one who doesn't like the color of their P-car..

I used to love silver 944s, but now after seeing it next to the guards red one since June...No color fits a 944 better then red. The silver makes mine look more Japanese then then Porsche it really is...

What do you guys think

I really like Satin Black Metallic and Graphite (but usually Graphites have burgundy interior which I don't envy) - but I have to say I heart Guards Red. My future 911 will be Platinum Metallic so gotta keep a red one around ya know...

edit: Rainforest Green (duke's car) is the hottest 951 color Ive seen by far - I do envy that.

Blue (Cobalt?) 968's with grey interior and dash!
Silver cabs...but I'd really like an all grey interior!

I love my red car, i just wish it was a bit more fade resistant. Stupid no clear coat!

Other colors i love for the 944 are white and that slate grey metallic (graphite). And like Sam mentioned, graphite and the white usually come with burgundy. That is a huge turn off for me .

Yellow. Slightly lighter than speed yellow. Looks absolutely beautiful on 944s. A woman who lives near me has her '84 painted that way; I'll try to snap a picture of it next time I'm in that part of town (I've only talked with her briefly).

I also LOVE the newer Cobalt Blue Metallic they're offering on the newer 997s (for an additional $3,500). I've got some photoshops someplace of what it would look like on a 944. It' freekin' gorgeous. I may go that way. . .

Red is nice. Also the slate grey metallic of my '85 looks FABULOUS on 944s - too bad my paint sucks. I've seen the same color on a 951 that looks outstanding. I'll try to find/post the pictures.

Not sure if it was here on Rennlist or somewhere else, but a couple of years back I am sure there were 2 people with 944s that wanted different color cars, so they switched all (and I mean all parts) from one to the other.

Really I am not making this up.

Red and black look most aggressive while silver make the 944 look more modern. I also kind of like the some what rare green color.

That Rain Forest green is o so sexy with the wheels he has on that car. Although, turbo twists MIGHT look better. I'm in the hunt for a Black car with black/tan interior. I love the 2 tone, it's sexy as well!

The only 944's I like in red are...

Turbo's with front splitters and turbo twists. If I find one like that, I'll take it in a heart beat.

When i sold the black n/a with tan interior i was hunting a red with black interior 951 and came across my current one. Couldn't pass it up! Atleast i got one out of the two right, the black interior.

Edit: bignnasty, you should see Sam's car, you will think twice about the red with only the twist wheels.

My fav is Arena Red, closely followed by Blue. When I bought my 951 I specifically wanted ANY other color than Guards Red. Well, we don't always get what we want now do we...

Your right, that is a great looking car. The wheels look awesome with those thin tires. The only thing, is notice in the 2nd picture how his fender overhangs his tire by quite a bit. Looks funky, maybe I never noticed it on other cars.
