I like the panda ears comment, thats funny.

Personally id stick with the 968 style mirrors, function over form i think, in this case they offer better visibility. But if you do go with the RUF type, and everyone else ahead of me passes on the the 968's for some reason... put me in line also .

I like 'em...

I see that Vitiloni makes something similar to the Panda ears.

I like the Ruf mirrors in black, they bring the black splitter into the rest of the car.

Stick with the 968s. Those mirrors make the car look very narrow to me.

though the 968's edge over a bit in looks, aside from the head on view, I actually warmed up tothe 935 mirrors, I like them as well. How much weight savings are we talking about here? You get like 2mph top speed too!
OT, but Jeremy, you thinking of offering those brake ducts? I would be interested.

BTW, my wife will kill me if you don't keep the 935's. So, if you decide to pass keep in mind you'll be contributing to the murder rate here in the Houston area.

Just kidding of course. But then again, I'm glad I finally got the dog house roof shingled - it's gonna be cold out there this winter. Say, do ya think you could keep them until at least this summer? The dog house is air conditioned and I'd be more comfortable there in the summer. Bandit is a Siberian Huskey and he loves the cold - so there's no heat in his house at all.

I actually started working up the negative mold to do a run of a few off them, but then found out AIR is offering them now for $199 (not including the duct tubing and backing plates). They aren't on their site, they are a call-only sort of thing. If the current Group Buy is netting 20% off their offerings, it may be worth calling them.........

LOL. The 968CS mirrors are manual and thus have none of the motor guts, the temp sensor, wiring, etc. They have a different mirror retainer that keeps them in position, so it's not a simple matter of deleting the mechanicals from a normal 968 mirror. In regards to the Dog House, I understand and have a similar set up out back of my house. Except, keep in mind that it gets a lot colder here in the winter. Remember?

Hmmmm...I can't say I don't like them, but I prefer the 968 units - they are nice and curvy. If anyones car could pull them off however (besides a full on track car) it would be yours. If you do install them - body color is my vote.

Well, I don't know about "Tajmajdog", but it is Hardie Planked and AC'd. Four by Six inside so there's about 24 sq. ft. of air conditioned comfort.

Wife is gone this weekend so Bandit and I have been hang'n out. He seems to like my cooking - but he does keep running outside a lot. Hummm...

Cold and wet here this weekend. Started raining about 3pm on Saturday and it hasn't let up since.

Wait a minute - what was this tread about? Oh, yea - Tifo's mirrors!

Jeremy,
the 935DP mirrors look great and would really look great in body color. I say go for it. Your car is alread pretty unique, the one-off mirrors would only add to that.

PS: If you have the capability of making molds of your brake ducts, any chance of being persuaded to make a mold of the mirrors?

They go well with the whole CS theme and match the doorhandles. I say keep the 935 mirrors.
