Is there any difference in length (or other difference) between the N/a and turbo bumper shocks?

They are different and will not interchange with one another. I am not sure whether its the length or the end that will not fit but I know definitely will not bolt up.

Thanks for the info. I am planning to create a custom bumper cover with ABS plastic from scratch and use as much of the 944 n/a stock parts. I would not do this except my front valance had a chunk torn out by the PO. Since I plan to replace the valance, I want to upgrade the entire setup to something more round. I am not fond of fiberglass since I have read it cracks easily.

I know they are too long (the N/A ones), and IIRC the attachment points to the bumpers are different.

I hear the euro bumpers (at least some) use the turbo shocks.
