Just a heads up; you'll probabaly spend a long time trying to get the fit and finish of the GT Racing headlights right. Several people on here have had them, and I think I've yet to see someone say that the fitment wasn't crappy.

Oh, and great project. Good luck with it.

What is your hp estimate with the supercharger?

BTW... 2100 lbs will not happen unless you strip the entire interior out and you probably will need to go to lexan on the rear hatch. I have a stripped 944 for road racing and it comes in at 2450 albiet with steel front fenders and roll cage.

It would have been cheaper to just buy a turbo 944

I'M KIDDING!! - awesome work, I cannot wait to see the numbers with that supercharger on there. After my 81 928 supercharger project is complete (by the end of winter) I'm thinking about adding one to my 87 944S.

If you ever feel like sharing, I would be interested in seeing how you mount the SC to the engine, pullies etc...

Keep up the awesome work, and keep us posted!!

Welcome and cool Project!!!! Good luck with all that work and please keep updating us on your project it fun to see how peoples projects are going. Are you planning to delete the a/c on the car? Any supercharger kits i have seen out there such as the one by speed force reacing require you to delete the a/c.

Also how many psi do u plan on running? and why did you choose to use the type of supercharger you are using over the style that sfr uses which looks like a turbo with a pully on it?

I give you alot of credit for doing all that work yourself. It takes time and hard work but looks like fun.

Again good luck witht he project cannot wait to hear about your next installment.

Yeah, I had it just "Set Up" in the basement and I noticed that it would be a PITA.

There is nothing under the hood expept the motor. The Battery is being replaced with a light Racing Cell because the only thing it will run is the lights, starter and coil. The Hood is going Fiberglass, the Rear is gutted and staying that way, The stock fuel cell is gone and replaced by a 5 Gal. The Dash is hollow, No Heater Core, No A/C. The Powersteering is gone and 90% of what makes the car quiet (Under the carpet) is gone to bare metal...

No Radio and the seats are being swapped for a set of Sparcos... or Recaro's if I feel like keeping the car a bit more "Pure"
