I'M KIDDING!! - awesome work, I cannot wait to see the numbers with that supercharger on there. After my 81 928 supercharger project is complete (by the end of winter) I'm thinking about adding one to my 87 944S.
If you ever feel like sharing, I would be interested in seeing how you mount the SC to the engine, pullies etc...
Keep up the awesome work, and keep us posted!!

I'm hoping to break the 210, 220 WHP mark with the 6 Speed out of a 968.

Welcome from a fellow member of the Commonwealth!
Bloody hell, you must have some time on your hands to be doing this!
Looks like a well thought out, well carried out job.
I'll stay stock thanks very much.

Hi Brian,
Welcome to Rennlist! I really like your project.
But, you need a big waterfall and a huge tail wind, or around 385whp to get a lightweight 951/ 944 into the 300KM club.
M758 is right about trying to put your car on a diet, 2400lbs is about it for a 944 that would be safe at any significant velocity. The wide body you have mentioned is also going to slow you down.
I have been involved in the design, engineering and manufacture of several supercharger systems for Audi, Mercedes and the Cayenne. I am curious how you intend to control fuel and timing. A rising rated FPR is going to fall way short of solving any problems that you are going to experience if you plan to run over 2 or 3 lbs of boost.
I really like your ambition, if you have any questions about supercharging please feel free to PM me. Good luck with your project.

Yeah, I have seen that the "Goal" is very hard to reach, but that is why it's a goal... If the supercharger fails to put out the HP required, then it's simple. Drop the Compression Ratio, rebuild the motor and add and EIC-2 to sort out the fuel..
The Fiberglass fenders are not wider, they will look stock.

Brian, I have never seen cleaner 944 engine parts ever. Even the new ones don't gleam like the ones in your pics. As Beeg said you must have a lot of spare time (and money) that military job of yours must be a good one.
Anyhow keep us posted and if you are ever down under you're welcome to work on my car anytime!!!

To make something work well takes time. To make something work well and look hot takes alot more..

Oh by the way, you're probably going to want to ditch that lower valence on the rear of the car. It's totally non-functional, and in fact kind of acts as a parachute.
