Default Use a Sharpie

A bit of advice, when you get the new one all bolted in use a sharpie to write the date and mileage on the canister so it can be read by you or the next guy if you sell the car. It just takes a minute. One should recognize the symptoms of a clogged fuel filter in case you get a tank of "bad gas", hi-speed bucking or stumbling under load are common early symptoms of fuel starvation. 60,000 miles is a safe preventative interval unless you experience symptoms earlier. I carry a spare filter in one of the rear storage compartments.
