You're right. ford sucks and we can agree. I haven't driven an Aston so I should let that pass. I know people with new Jags and they are very unhappy. Sorry to generalize. If anyone here has ford stock and was offended, sorry again. And sell.

I think everyone in this debate would take ANY ford, volvo, aston, chevy, GM, bentley, ferrari, lamborghini, pagoni, saleen...ANY CAR, if they gave it to you. So whats the need for debating. Most of the people in here don't have bank funds deep enough to shell down for the cars were debating about. The cars can be owned by whoever, I don't really care. If I have enough cash to drop on an aston, I think I have enough cash to fix whatever may be wrong on it.

I, like others aren't pleased with Ford. I think their fit and finish on the mustangs is ****ty. Then again, it could be just because my friend doesn't take care of his car. I haven't been impressed by ford at all though. Don't get me wrong, some good looking trucks (the Harley Davidson 250's...mmm sexy as hell), but I still hate the fit and finish. Also, being taught the Chevy personna my whole life, you kind take one side. Grandpa worked at GM, owns butt loads of chevelles, we have an old Chevy II, you grow into what you like and dont like basically. The only thing I have against ford is fit and finish, other then that, it's just an influence from my grandpa to hate fords.

So to sum it up, with a very good quote...

I would TAKE a Ford, I just wouldn't BUY a Ford.

Id take a ****, but I wouldnt buy one either.

Fords are expensive anyway. Their depreciation is like burning $20s out of your wallet every day. The hidden cost of ownership. This is why 99 Mustangs and Camaros are $4900.

Maybe its just me, but Id rather have one Bentley than two Fords.

Two words, ford GT. Yes it seems they fixed the front suspension issue, but they were ripped something fierce in Car & Driver in trying to cut corners in a car that listed for $150k and dealers ripped people at $175k to get one.

...since when is VW "bad"? Cayenne is "half VW" like that's a negative thing? Obviously, Porsche disagrees with you or they wouldn't have agreed to the project, huh? And if it weren't for VW, we wouldn't have 944's...period.

Frankly, I'd much rather have the VW than the Cayenne "yuppie boob-mobile". So many Cayennes around here it's rediculous, and it's all soccer moms driving them.

I agree URIN 2ND, I can see a Cayenne anytime I go to the city. I don't see 944's, 911's...

Well, isn't the Cayenne based off the Touraeg, or vice versa? They do look "strikingly similar"...

The Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg, and Audi Q7 all share the same chasis.
