Default Corbeau A4 question

I just purchased a pair of Corbeau A4 seats for my 87 951, and have found the lumbar support to be somewhat intrustive after doing some innitial driving. Has anyone else had this experience. Can I just remove that foam cushion behind the stiching?

Any comments from owners would be great.

scott, how did you mount them? Corbeau sliders, adapted to stock sliders, or no sliders at all?

I used Corbeau sliders, which I purchased along with the seat. The seat fits into the car perfectly well, it is just the cushion in the lower back which is driving me nuts. I don't like the feeling of my stomach in front of my chest when I'm supposed to be in performance style seats.
