Default 951 dash clock light blues

So I order a new dash clock light bulb since mine did not work, take everything apart, put the new bulb in, and.... nothing happens. I take a look at the old bulb which looks a little dirty but it is not burned out. Does this mean the whole clock is bad? The clock functions fine except the light.
