Hu-zah!! Afer six hours of battling, I finally found the electrical gremlin and estroyed him!! I kept Gizmo though, he's cool. I had several bad grouds, just oxidized and rusted bolts/connectors. Funny thing though, a drop of a bolt set me back an hour and a half. It's was the ground that attatches to the rear of the engine, dead center. I have to ask, why is there an opening to the flywheel housing at the top of it? That is where the bolt fell. It scared the ****e out of me! After a while, my friend and I finally got it. Then we ordered victory pizza.
I am just happy the car is now charging properly. Later this week, fix oil leak.

The hole near the speed and reference sensors is there so you can set the engine to Top Dead Center. If you look at the side towards the rear of the car you should see a small "
finger."
When the engine is at TDC, this "finger" will be lined up with a timing mark scribed into the flywheel.

It's unfortunate that they don't make a rubber plug to cover that hole.
I usually stick a latex glove in there if there's any risk of dropping a bolt in there while working on the car.

They should have a cover for it. And i found my TDC from the bottom, why have an extra place to check when it is blocked by a vaccum hose? That last question was rhetorical. When I put the bolt back on i was sure to cover the hole.
