Default Anyone have "plugs" that hold front plate bracket to bumper?

Back in September somebody backed into the front end of my 944. The license plate and the "nose panel" took most of the damage. I got a used nose panel from 944 Ecology and painted it myself with paint from Paintscratch.com. The front end now looks fine.

The license plate and bracket were both mangled. Furthermore, the two plastic plugs that insert into the front bumper were both broken. So, even if I bent the bracket and plate back into some semblance of straightness, I could not attach them to the front of the car. No problem. I got some plugs, painted them the proper color, and plugged the holes.

Last week the County's finest gave me a warning for no front plate. So, I need to put a front plate back on.

Does anybody have a spare pair of those plugs that go into the front bumper with the holes to screw in the bracket???

Cheers,

Mark

Check out the stuff from your local autoparts store. They'll have some plastic bits. I recall getting some stock pieces and trimming them to fit. Then the bolts the store has will work as well.

Lowes has em, they're black plastic and maybe don't take paint too well but beats nothing. The dealer prolly has something too. Bruce
