I've posted this on the 911 forum as well.
I am going to list a set of wheels on e-bay for a friend.
They are original Fuchs from a '78 911 with tyres (Pirelli). Fronts ar 16 x205, rears are 16x245.
Condition of the wheels can only be described as ' fantastic'! The black paint is still shiny! No scratches on the chrome etc. Tyres so,so.
Anybody got a ballpark value on these? I'll just add 200% for Australia!
OK. Just found some on ebay. Prices are sky high. However these wheels have absolutely no damage and are in 'as new' condition. Prices?

OK! I get the hint.
Please excuse my crap photographic skills.
Any red tint in the photos is a reflection from the surrounding area, and they are not my legs!
I think the backs would be 9" and the front ? 7"
The wheels are pretty dirty. They have been stored in a shipping container for a few years.

They look like 6's and 8's. Definetly not 9's. Flip the wheels over, and read what is on the backside of one of the petals. It should say something like 6Jx16, 8Jx16, etc. Also there will be a porsche symbol (triangle with a P in it) and a part# (911-XXXXXXX). That info is important to potential buyers and will better help determine value.

Thanks
I will try to get down there next week. They are 60 miles away from me (but it's a good drive in the 44!!!)

There's no way those are 6's. I'm putting my money on 7's and 8's.

Yeah, not 6's. 6's have a much flatter lip and smaller diameter center.
This is just a set of 7&8s from a turbo carrera. In America, they're worth 1000 on a very good day.

Thank you gentlemen.
Have organised the owner to get the sizes for me. He's about 60mls south of here!
Found some for sale (15") here in Oz - nearly$3k for a set!
Whoa!
