Question S2 exhaust sys

My -91 has an exhaust system with only two hanging points. One is in the rear at the muffler and the other is right in front of the katalytic converter. Should there be a third one somewhere in between?

I haven't been able to find any data on this and it does not look like there has ever been a third hanger arrangement...

any one who knows?

Mikael

There should be one between cat/muffler its on the pipe with the cat. (unlike earlier models with it on the catback)

My S has a hanger at the flange at the back of the cat and the front of the cat back. It would be hard to see unless directly under it. I would think you should have the same thing.

I have an 91 s2 it had the third hanger behind the cat, but i lost it when doing my clutch! I drove like that for about 15,000 miles then I upgraded to a SFR cat back system which I've had for the last 5,000 miles. I haven't had any issues by driving with just two hangers as you have now, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
