Default Huntley Racing piggy-back question

Yes, I know they're not around any more, but does their piggy-back computer have tuning capabilities, and does it plug into a PC? If so, what software does it us, and lastly, Is it their own product, or just their brandname on someone else's controller?

TIA.

Are you talking about the ARC2? if so, no it cannot be hooked up to a computer and has very very limited tuning capabilities. If you are talking about the Split Second PSC1, then yes, it is programmed via a computer

as to your second question, no these were made by Split Second and sold by Huntley Racing

If you're looking for a versatile piggy back w/ computer connectivity, check out the perfect power SMT-6.

Not to hijack your thread, but I'm trying to identify some unknown parts in a potential project with numerous unknown parts -- is this a Huntley piggy-back?

I called Split Second, and sent them pictures of the above boxes. The guy on the phone couldn't identify the boxes and said the setups they sold to Huntley were un tunable ARC controllers.

I'm not all that serious on the project -- I have plenty of projects right now -- but if noone is interested, I may take it on.

BTW, the seller is very local to me (lives about 5miles away). If you are serious about going forward, let me know and I'll be more than happy to assist. Also let me know if you decide to back down, then I might step up.

well, it looks like I'm going forward with this project

I won't install anything until I can get that controller checked out and verify that it will do what I want it to do and won't blow up my engine. Thats my no.1 worry with this. Should be a fun project

As my pappy always says, "One more good deal and I'll be broke."
