As always, wheels look better with the proper offset. Nice!

Assuming late-offset wheels, what brand and thickness did you use? Looks great!

Would you mind listing the specifics like the offsets of the wheels and the size spacers you got for the front and back and what year your car is?

Looks to me like an inch spacer all around. The wheels should be ~ 50 front, 55 rear offset (7.5 & 9").

what parts are needed? I have the porsche spacers on mine but they dont push the wheel out that far and now need some thin 5mm spacers or so.

I'm looking for measurements in mm and part #'s hopefully I can just get 1 spacer instead of using more than one on each wheel.

You have to get studded spacers if you want to space it substantially unless you want to install longer studs (which wont be much cheaper and a ton more work).

Here's your best source. He'll work with you and custom build you a set of 4 spacers for your specific application. Very reputable guy from what I have heard.

BTW, I suggest you get the hubcentric spacers (which are 100 more than the listed ebay price).

are there any disadvantages to using spacers? it would seem to me that they might be a weak spot. how about using them on a car that is taken to the track?

Porsche used wheel spacers from the factory on a variety of cars - from 930s to 944s. Although it's better not to use spacers, there really isn't an alternative unless you want someone to custom fab you new hubs.

944J, the car is an 86 with late offset wheels and i dont know what size the wheels are. The spacers are 1.5 inch and are hubcentric.
I took it out on the highway at higher speeds and didnt notice anything abnormal.
Seems to drive good and looks alot better then before.

spacers tend to be heavier and are not usually allowed on the track since you cannot check the torque on them easily or they could possibly break. Of course some techs may not notice this and never give you problems easy. Its also your problem if something does happen anyways. I used spacers on my 914 w/ no problems but when i swapped to proper hubs and ditched the spacers you could tell alot of weight was eliminated from the front end.

My spacers are very light weight, being factory spacers, and all pre 86 944's use spacers on the rears, so I don't see how they wouldnt be allowed on the track?

Where did you get them?

I have some 21mm spacers but I think I want maybe 5-10mm more.
