also check out www.rallylights.com I haven't done business with them, but their stuff looks pretty good. (basically just a dealer for Hella)

Does this thread mean that my lights are better? I have Hellas in Bruce and they seem to light up a fair percentage of the road. Are there diffent specs between the priveledged ones who drive on the (right) side of their car and the plebs who stick to the left?

Yes, if you get real E codes (sold for off road only use in the USA) you need to get LHD or RHD (LHD for the USA or europe and RHD for the UK or Austraila) versions or the pattern will be all wrong.

Due to the ever-present risk of lens damage I use inexpensive E codes from JC Whitney, they are great and less than $25 a side.

I have Hella H4 bulbs, but they don't seem too much brighter than normal. I don't know what stock ones look like though.

No it merely means you were subjugated by Her/His Majesty until 1901 and couldn't shake old bad habits
