Wolf - if you get 60 MPH at 5000 RPM, the PO has installed a turbo box in your car.
No rocket science here. It bolts in in about 2 hours and is a better box, but taller gears.
I have the low geared S2 box and I run around on low boost on the street (about 475 HP) - still a lot of fun. Though 1st, 2nd and 3rd are kind of silly.

Actually is sounds odd, but that just perfect for me. It is my race car and I max out at about 135 or so. The most I have hit is 132 (6000 RPM in 5th) at california speedway on the banking. That was right at my braking zone. So my gears are just right really. I do run 225/50 R15 tires which with their smaller diameter gives me effectivly a lower final drive ratio. Plus I have the shorted 5th gear from the 924S to give me a little more power at speed.
