Cool What we did this weekend......

Well, spent most of the weekend working on various P-cars. My new suspension came in Saturday night - started installing that today. My dad was busy both days tearing down our 924 parts car to make room for his 951 (that needs the head reinstalled) and I washed the red one. The gold car is the $250 944 from Dallas that was posted for sale a few weeks ago, turned out to be a hell of a deal - nice guy too! The whole time we were out there we had our head of ranch security protecting us from evil birds and tennis *****.........

Im actually respraying my rear Turbo valance right now. I originally used to dark a paint...looked sorta funky. Found that Krylon Chilli Pepper red (something like that) is a pretty good match for Guards Red.

Also mounted up a 924 Turbo vented nose panel. Has been at my friends body shop since March waiting to get painted, was finally finished last week. Next week...possibly change my brake pads. Not to sure yet. I need to figure out first if i need new rotors or not.

Dan,
Glad to see everything got there. Sorry to send it in some many box's, but it would have weighed a ton if I put it all in one.

James - thanks for the compliment, me and dad worked real hard to get her back into shape, it really paid off though!

Todd - stuff got here just fine, the number of boxes was not an issue - they were all there and that's what mattered, stuff looks great!

Chris - Close! It's actually a '60 B coupe, not mine but I wish it was!

Sharky, what are the details on the suspension you put in? Are those Bilstein struts? Adjustable ride height...those spring perches look a bit different than stock and the adjustable perches i have.

I got them from Todd, our local friendly used parts dealer! They are out of a 924S LeMans edition, they are Bilsteins on all four corners. The fronts have adjustible perches, I am going to have to machine up a spanner wrench to be able to adjust them. I also have way thicker sway bars, but I can't remember the thickness. The car has manual steering and I am putting in a very minimal interior, the car will remain street legal - but just barely.
