Car will not start
This morning, I went to start my 1986 944 Turbo and it wouldin't turn over. I noticed it was out of gas, so I drove to Sunoco, and filled two cans with 93.The car was now 1/4 full, I go to start, and still nothing. It just struggles, and will not turn over at all. I think maybe I can hear a spark plug wire jumping, but not sure. Also, it is leaking something from under the engine, which I have never seen before.
I took a video of the car trying to start, and a picture of the leak, maybe someone with more knowledge can help me, it's pretty frustrating right now.
(It smokes alot because I don't have a catalytic converter.)
The leak, looking forward from under the passenger side door.
Now the video of me trying to start it.

Hopefully that's just a power steering leak. Try Clarks-Garage for the troubleshooting tips. Once you have more info I'm sure there are folks here that can point you in the right direction. At the very least try the DME jumper cable also in Clarks...it's a start. Make sure both of the sensor plugs are fully engaged at the bracket behind the camtower. These are cheap things. Also if the car was bone dry you might wait for the fuel pump to run awhile before turning it over. Keep us posted.

Take a look at what the car is leaking, is it oil, power steering fluid or fuel? Determine if you have spark, pull a plug and crank the car.
Be mindful you dont kill your battery trying to crank the car.

It could be almost anything from your description, and if it fires a little you obviously have a spark.
Not having a converter has nothing to do with the smoke, you have some other issue with your car.
A compression test would be a good place to start.

The car sparks fine, but it will not start. The previous owner is convinced that I have flooded it. I didn't pump the gas at all, and I pulled the plugs out and they were dry. The first plug looked kind of burnt, and I think it might be dead. He thinks that there is fuel in the cylinders and I should just let it sit overnight. He says the smoke is richness, and is normal. I still have no idea what is leaking. Its not red, so I guess that rules out power steering fluid. If anyone has anymore suggestions, i'd really appreciate it. If someone that lives in my area could come and take a look at it, I would certainly compensate them for their time. As of now, i'm basically stuck.

Run your finger on it, is it oil? The PS fluid is not always red, who knows what was put in there by the PO.
Honestly i didnt think it was possible to flood a fuel injected car, i thought that was only with carbs. I guess i learn something new everyday.
Inspect the condition of the distributor cap and rotor. Are they in good shape?
I watched your video, defenetley sounds like you are getting spark. Try giving the car a very LIGHT amount of gas while cranking it. See if that gets it started.

I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out what the mystery fluid is. I think it was the fluid from the hood piston. The hood pistons are bad, and the right side one leaks when the hood is opened or closed.
Here is the real problem, I guess I didn't emphasize this before, I ran the car out of fuel. Bone dry. When I picked it up, there was barely enough gas to get it off the trailer and up my driveway. We actually got snow the other day where I live, and I was in a hurry to get it into the garage. Without thinking, I tried to start it, and ran it out of fuel. I went and filled up a jerry can, and now the car is at about 1/4 tank, but still won't start.

hood pistons? you mean hood shocks? that hold your hood open? They are gas filled and don't leak fluid. Also, where was the leak in respect to the car. i.e Was it in the passenger side front of the engine bay?
