I just saw on Witchhunter's web site that if your injector is leaking that it should be replaced. So new o-rings and caps wouldn't solve my leaky injector issue?

I did it both ways... I bought reseal kits from Autozone (it was like $1.25 per injector) and replaced them without any issues, but then later on I had sent them off to WitchHunter and Gordon cleaned/tested them and replaced caps/seals for under $50...

I've got the injectors ready to ship. I'm just concerned that even after service they still might leak since they state on their website that leaky injectors should be discarded and replaced.

He will tell you if they are leaky or not, if they are he will probably want you to replace whichever one is leaking....if so, finding a used injector isnt too hard, and you can just send it to him to match to the other injectors.

You are in the same boat if the leak is internal no matter what. Look at it like this, if they tell you the injector is leaking through the body you have to replace it anyway right? Even if one is bad you are much better off having the other 3 rebuilt and getting another new/used one to fill the gap. We aren't talking megabucks here. Your injectors have probably never been cleaned no matter how you look at it. The printout will tell you how close they balance out and Gordon will not rebuild anything that leaks internally. Your leak was probably just an outer o-ring anyway and they will be fine.

I guess if the injectors themselves are bad that would just be an excuse to upgrade to the 55# injectors from Vitesse.

Got them boxed up and ready to go. Thanks for your input guys!

You're assuming it works?

I think you're much safer sending them to Witchhunter (I can vouch for Gordon's work--my car's never run better).
