Default Rennstock '05 is JUST AROUND THE APEX -- REGISTER NOW!

Hello Rennlisters....

Its that time of year again... Time for the annual Rennstock event in Gainesville, FL. This year is going to be better than ever!!!

We have secured a 1.6 mile road course at the Gainesville Raceway for this years Rennstock event. We are going to do timed solo runs around the track in 3 lap increments. The registration for the track portion of Rennstock will be limited to the first 30 participants so go to www.rennstock.com and register if you want to join in the fun. There is no limit on observers so everyone is welcome to come watch.

After the track its back to old business with a bar-bq, door prize giveaways and a late night bonfire (one of the highlights of last years Rennstock). There is an abundance of land so you can bring a tent and camp by the fire or check in to one of the near by hotels for the night (listed on www.rennstock.com).

Sunday morning we are going to get off to a slow start (late nights seem to cause this) having a morning group cruise around the back roads of North Florida which will end at the Gainesville Hooters for lunch.

Last years event was nothing short of AMAZING!!. Check out www.rennstock.com
to register for the event (even if you are just coming to hang out). There are also pictures from last years event and an area to purchase the DVD from Rennstock '04.

If you have any questions about this years Rennstock event just post them here or email matt(at)type944.com.

Thanks!

Matt & Travis

Only if my car was in a decent shape and I had 75$ plus the gas money to get there. Anyhow I don't have a helmet or anything. Have fun at rennstock this year. Last year was great besides the fuel leak...

Haven't had time to upload them. You can see alot of them on my Rennlist gallery (http://gallery.rennlist.com/gallery/...nStock-04-Pics).

We are showing them where our wallet belongs...or where our wives say
If you've ever done an auto-x, you know they run $30-50. You get what, maybe 4 times out before lunch and 4 times out after lunch? On a coned off parking lot, with lap times around 50 seconds? 8 laps, so MAYBE 8 mins on the course total??

It's 75 bones, we are taking no more then 30 entrants. Even if time between cars run 5 mins, well -- you get the idea. We're talking ALOT of runs, ALOT of times around the track. 3 laps PER run.

In addition, to participate in a track event day such as this one you'd be looking at well over $100 (probably closer to $250 -- think DE event). This is a private track. Track insurance is included. This is the package deal. $75 is a drop in the hat compared to what you get.

Forget about all the door prizes you will get. Everyone who attended last year received SOMETHING. Many received gift certificates. It may not equal $75/person, but it will be something, and JUST FOR SHOWING UP.

One last thing -- you don't have to pay for the track day to attend Rennstock! Join us for fun, food, door prizes, and great cars!

Thanks to all those who have registered for both Rennstock and the track day. Look forward to meeting you all!

This is a bump to say that I went out to the track today, and it is pretty sweet. Travis and Matt will be uploading the pictures I took today of the track and some of the guy running out there.
