Default Car terms in relation with life

I dunno, ever since ive owned a car (since a 944 was my first car, so ever since ive owned a 944) ive always found myself using car terms in relation to life. I was wondering if anybody else does this, or am I just a weird ***. every once in a while ill catch myself saying car stuff in relation to real life.

Like if I have eaten too little, ill say "Im running lean", or if ive eaten too much, ill say "Im running rich". If im holding a really big *** fart, ill say "im building boost", and if i rip it, ill say "my blow off valves pretty loud, huh?" or if somebody is really slow or stupid or something, ill think "man he must have turbo lag". If i go and eat some heaping pile of crap from McDonals, ill say "That food had an octane rating of 5" or somethin. I dunno ill post more as I live my daily Rock life and think of more...

You get my drift though? I was wondering if anybody else does this, or if they have anything to add.

I won't even ask what you consider to be your "skid pad".

Sounds like you can't handle the g's

But seriously, I have done the same thing....it depends on what my focus has been, I have even used graphic art terms....but that is another story....

Making a pit stop, refuling, THE PITS ARE CLOSED FOR THE DURATION!!!, this is NOT an endurance event... all have plenty of meaning at home... Fortunately, my wife's a closet NASCAR fan and does love cars... daily driver is a WRX (stick, of course!)

Yeah, but at least having your head gasket blown isn't as bad as when it happens to your car ...
