Well, its CONFIRMED! I'm definately outta my mind!

I went ahead and bought this car, even AFTER looking at it!

It is what I thought it was, and maybe even a little worse.

I know I paid to much for it, but, what the hay! Maybe it'll work out. If not, then, WHAT AN EXPERIENCE.......huh.

anyway.......here is a couple of pics taken earlier this summer from my buddy.

and,i have NO idea, when I'm going to get around to working with this one!

I SITLL can't believe my wife going along with this! But, she did say it was "darling" hehe!

If you have a good chassis/bad engine 914 seems like you could have quite a car for less than $5k. Well, that is what I have been thinking about recently.

Keep the wife, sell some of the cars!
My brother will sell you his 2.5 flatty from his 2000 RS, or full swap with tranny and such. He wants a WRX motor.

Regardless of the choice it's still alot better than a 160hp Subaru...
I beg to differ. The Subaru parts will be cheaper, the engine is probably more reliable, I'm guessing they take advantage of the boxer layout for a lower CG, and it has plenty of aftermarket on its own. If there are people dumping the NA Subie motors for $500 because they want the WRX engines, why not take advantage?
