aw...i didn't check to see if the time changed (i may have been able to make it)...the morning could have worked out...i'm down for the 1st sat of the month for a mini meet (so long as the meets are in NorVa - prob won't drive to much further out)

but i did learn to cook 10 new dishes and powerwashed and cleaned my deck (today i reseal it) - was actually productive!

anyway...anyone try to diagnose a non working horn yet?...i've got to do this to get it to pass inspection

I had a horn issue in another car once, and decided it was easier to simply run a second wire to a button on the dash. If you have to, do it that way and hide the button after inspection. It's worked for me, and IIRC all you have to do is have a working horn as there is nothing mentioned about the button being on the steering wheel.

cool...i actually was contemplating doing that but thought that there was something with the horn that typically goes wrong (such as a loose connection or some wire gets brittle and breaks [latter in this case])

Well, the lift session was a lot of fun and got to meet one rennlist-er :-). Also, as a side note, found out that my diagnosis of our Honda noise was correct and that the last shop who told me I had my head in the wrong parking space was wrong. I know my wheel bearings!!

We changed the tranny oil and bled the brakes on BlueDog's 944, so I got to see a couple of my future projects not being too terribly scary! Wonder if BlueDog would mind if I took his car apart in his driveway to learn about mine........;-)
