Default RE Powered 944, Thought I would share

OK, who lost their 2.5L? Just watched this on Discoveries this Week on Science Channel. Thought I would share.

The car was re-powered with 156volts. It did pretty good. The project was completed by some Florida High school kids. Great work guys!

Oh the irony, the juice to run an electric supercharger... Yet no IC engine!

Does it have regenerative braking like all of the good electric cars? What's the range like?...
Put some solar panels on the roof, and you have a decent weekend car that costs $0 in gas
Then again, it would take all week to charge back up.

Pretty neat idea, and at least they have good taste in cars.

Not a bad idea. Why not go one better and put bike pedals and sprockets on the passenger side and run a chain to the rear wheels and offer lots of rides in THE CAR.
