I am looking to buy a 951 with mods and had a few questions?

How durable are these cars if properly taken care of to auto-x/track and occasional drives to work etc? I am looking at a 88' 951 in like new shape with all docs etc...

Where do you guys take your cars?

What do I need to look out for and where should I take it to get inspected?

I have had numerous performance cars:

96' Integra GSR
99' M3
01' S4
65' Cobra (FFR Spec Racer)
03' Rubicon
00' Saab Viggen
99' AMG C43
98' Jeep GC 5.9
03' K2500 Burb

I have a 99' C43 AMG now as my daily so I know a thing or 2 about maintenance.

I am trying to decide between a modded 951 or a 02' Z06 with a Lingenfelter supercharger for my fun/track car. With the money I save by buying the 951 I can have more to put towards a 996tt in the next couple years or modding my C43 or my wifes Saab Viggen. Any advice?
