Does anyone know the price on those trim pieces? That way an interested buyer can know what they are getting into.

Still $500/ best. No interest so far.

I've had a difficult time finding the trim pieces. I hunted down a fabricator that used to make the replica wing for 944s and he wanted ~250 for just one of the side trim pieces. I was discussing this with Konstantin a while back and he mentioned that I may be able to get all of the factory trim pieces for that price. I didn't follow up, but he may be someone to ask.

Does anyone have pics of the rear hatch with the 968 trim pieces installed WITHOUT the 968 wing? The rear 968 trim piece seems to form a lip spoiler that just might look good by itself. Or does anyone know if the trim pieces have holes that would be exposed without the 968 wing installed?

Thanks.

The wing goes on first, the trim pieces go around it.

The trim pieces alone would not look right (bad/incomplete) without the wing.

I dont know what the side pieces are, but the center triim piece under the wing is big bucks from a dealer. I looked into getting the S2 part without the 3rd tail light cutout, and I recall it was $500-800. I could be wrong, but I remember it was high enough that I would never consider buying it even with the discounted mailorder prices and the $100 PCA coupon.

Agreed. Just the wing itself bolts directly on. All the holes line up perfectly. I have put a 968 wing on two different 944 hatches and both lined up to the existing holes.

LOL, I was just fitting up the 968TRS adjustable wing on the Project tonight. I had the side mouldings sitting around that I picked up a few years ago. I don't have the center trim piece tho. I was thinking about making one, after seeing the price... thinking turned into definately making one.

No interest what-so-ever.

Some tire-kickers but that is it.

$399.99 takes it. In a few days, I will throw it on eBay.

You mean "fin kickers"? spoilers?

399?? That a buy- Too bad it would look silly on a 924S. If you could wait until April, you could sell that in Hershey in 20 minutes for 500 bucks.

best of luck Ted. And congrats on the beautiful 968. Gorgeous color.

Thanks Chris!

I know as soon as I sell it, I will get about a dozen PMs asking if I still have it saying they will pay $500 LOL!

On my original hatch I used this thick rubber tape(side molding) I had laying around the shop. It was flexible enough to go around the corners and looked factory, that is if you didn't know what the factory look was. I no longer have this since some punks smashed out my back window and ruined the hatch. I found the tape in the back of my shop. I have no idea where it came from or who made it. I think it was something leftover from the 80's.

I know this doesn't help much but may give people ideas of something other then the stock trim that can look really nice.
