Aluminum Bellypan and Tire Sadness
Unrelated to eachother, here are some pics of my custom aluminum bellypan and my latest discovery. While changing the oil today I noticed that my passenger front tire has been completely toasted on the inside edge. Not cool. One Kuhmo Ecsta MX down the drain. Lemme know what your thoughts are on this. Obviously the camber is way out, but from what? The other side is worn but not as severely. Should my entire hub wobble top top bottom if I try and push/pull the tire by hand? Thanks fellas

I went to a Firestone and had a lifetime alignment done..it was ~140-150. The good thing about this is I had it done prior to installing new shocks up front, replacing a tie-rod, and replacing a control-arm (had a rebuilt one on the car which my bushing kit would not work with...interesting the shop charged full-price for a BRAND-new part...). The cool thing about the lifetime alignment is Firestone will redo the alignment (after some moaning) each time for free!! I had a manager from one of the shops tell me they don't give lifetime alignments for Porsches because it takes so long...if they tell you this, just find a different one who will do it...even if they are far away...once paid for, all the stores honor the policy.

Nice belly pan...reminds me of a thick, cable-knit Shetland Wool sweater. BTW- your tie rods have signaled their desire to exit your vehicle.... or else tires will continue to set your wallet afire...trust me!
