OK, so i was just wondering how many miles people have on their front-engined, 4-cylinder, water-cooled porsches. so i pose the question:

How many miles do you have on your car RIGHT NOW, at this very second, as it's parked?

my count is 120,614 ....i've put......6000 miles on it since i bought it 4 months ago.

bonus question- where is the oil on your dipstick? mine is pegged at a tiny bit above full.

 

126,000 (944S2) and 80,000 (924S)

 

about 42,000 miles on my 1988 944 N/A (when i got it 2 years ago it had 30,000 on it.

Bought it with about 61,500 a year ago. I drive it about 100 miles a week.

251,790 (have a broken odometer, i'd say its closer to 270k) Motor was rebuilt last summer, and my oil is always full.

 

84,500 right now, bought it 2 years ago with 72k and rebuilt motor at 79,500 1 year ago.

Oil level is always at full, if I can help it :-)

Something like 260k on my first one. Blew a piston rod at 224k - took chunks out of the block and oil pan.

195k on my most recent one. Still putting around in new rennlist hands.

 

57220 right now. 57220 when I bought it a year and half ago. 57220 when the PO bought it. Judging by how much work I've had to do to it and the general shape the interior and suspension are in, I'd say like 150,000 - 160,000. Right now the Oil is about 1mm above max. I don't bag on my car for nothing - I really got the short straw with this one. I like NAs, but mine was really sub-par... It's doing well now, though!

Mom's has 85,000 and the oil is probably 1mm above min . Dad's 928 has 43,000 miles and oil is between min and half.
