Ted: Contact Robert down at DC Automotive, i recall them asking for $300 for a 2.7l head (with the valves, springs) and it has been pressure checked/warrenty on it (the price may have changed, this is a while back).

The 2.7l head used the same block as the S2 engine (104mm) but has 8 valves , good upgrade for turbo owners aiming for a 3.0l+ engine

Really? I was just planning to use it as a doorstop or paperweight.

There is absolutely nothing special about the 2.7 head. You are luclky if you can find someone to give it to.

Ted, when i contacted DC a couple of weeks back getting parts, Robert quoted me $350 for a used 944 Turbo head with all the internals (springs, valves etc) and pressure tested and so on. The 2.7L head was a LONG time back (maybe earlier this year) and again i say this, the price may have changed.
