i just remembered that my first 944 had about 87,300 when i bought it, but i realized on the drive home that the odometer was broken (i was 16 and knew nothing about porsche, except that i liked this one), and i used it as a DD for about 6 months before it got crashed into. so i'd probably peg it at about 180k, since the PO lived in FLORIDA, and it somehow made it to cali through PO's in arizona, texas, and so-cal. i dont even know how that car ran.....

103,000km (about 64,000 miles)
I've put officially 30,000 km since I bought it over 3 years ago! Bought it with 73,000 km (about 45,000 miles!)
I've put about 10,000 km on it this summer alone...you gotta drive it!

My 91 944-S2 is at 180,566 miles as it sits in the garage right now.
Oil level? At the full mark (just topped it off a few days ago).
New valve cover gasket and winter storage soon.

I ALWAYS keep the oil topped off, within 4 oz. She doesn't like it to go below a cup, she's finicky.
Odometer frozen, at like 130K, I can't remember - I bought her 2 years ago, and have hardly driven her - I would guess maybe 8K on top of that if even that much. I have a new assembly to replace that, but I've been ill for 2 years, hah.
I need to catch up on important things, like tires, replacing broken front strut, things like that to make her mechanically safe. Then playing around with cosmetics again.
But I think the local Rennlisters would like me to patch the big gap of paint missing on my hood, lol. I think I embarrass everyone. It's just a car, waiting for personality right now. She drives well, that's all that matters right now.

The 87 is at 114K +/- 2K as the speedo is broken. Waiting on the part. Bought it with the same millage and carfax/registration dates and other paperwork matched so I will say +/- 2K and stick to it.
The 83 was about 110K +/- 5K when I sold it to Joe but it is harder to tell. How much towing is the original question taking into consideration?
As for oil level? The '87 looses oil at a decent rate. The '83 didn't but only it's new owner can tell. Both are/were kept topped off with 10/40 dino.

Hey Serge,
That E30 325is you have there will take you 500K miles or more if you care for it properly. Sold my 88 to a family member (who I like) and it's still running strong at 250K........

209,000 on the 84' NA and the oil is always full. No leaky either! Bought it with 91k 5.5 years ago. Previous owner put 30k on it in 16 years. Original clutch too!
The Callaway has 33k on it with 2,200 on the engine. Clutch specs out as new, but slips in a 4th gear hard pull. So I plan on a KEP and 930 disc or Kevlar, etc type disc.
