Default Early vs. late seats

Just got a line on a used front seat from a -87 951.
Will it fit in my -91 S2?

In the spare parts catalog, replacement 951 seats are different as from MY -88 where they are referred to as "fully electrical" or something like that.

If I remember right, there is only one major change to the 944 seat design which took place around -85 or so.

Any help greatly appreciated !!
Tommy

yeah they will work. they probally just have power everything. I bet you could fit any year 944 seat in any year 944.

My 84 has one 1984 seat and one 1988 seat in it.

Ok, it fits, great, but does a -87 seat look exactly the same as a -91 seat ??

Thanks,
Tommy

Yes, the basic seats from the 87 are the same as the basic seats in a S2

Unless they are the sport seats with the wider side bolsters....
