Default Motors / wheels for sale

I just posted some stuff in the classifieds. I am located outside of Boulder CO. Shipping the engines would require some expense for crating and possibly pickup. I may however be driving to the Chicago area with a trailer over Thanksgiving so something might be worked out.

here is the ad text:

1991 944S2 motor, great condition. Accessories negotiable. No wiring harness, no oil cooler, no AFM. Great compression, rebuilt head. $2000 for long block with intake/exhaust.

944 wheels: 16' forged 'flats' late offset, 16x7,8" silver finish. $250 including centercaps.

944 Turbo S forged clubsport wheels. 16x7,9" Beat up and oxidized, for track use or restoration/repair. $350 for all four. $345 for just the 9" rears.

944 Turbo factory replacement engine with 20K miles. Short block only. Good compression. Consists of block, crank, rods, pistons, balance shafts. factory assembled. $2500. I have reciepts for the engine replacement, block has a replacement engine block code. The price is not cheap but great compared to rebuilding a 951 motor (with a hone and oversize pistons.) Plus you can sell whatever you have left over.

Thanks,
-Joel.

Are you looking for an NA motor? I've got an 84 and 86 FS. Both are good especially the 86.

Accessories: PS Pump, Alternator, AC Compressor. I also have a bellhousing, flywheel and clutch (condition unknown) and a DME. In addition to what I have, for a swap you'd need an oil cooler, AFM, wiring harness, and a few odds and ends. You could also use an aftermarket oil cooler and a megasquirt rather than bother with the factory stuff.

N/A & turbo blocks are the same AFAIK - the head is different on the turbo (has the ceramic liner on the exh. ports & sodium filled valves), etc.

I'm looking for another block if anyone's got one - preferably one with a crank. I ended up swapping away my spare. . . 3-liters considered.

Mother of #*$%^@...That is a very reasonable price for the 951 engine. I paid $2252 Cdn to my local Por$che dealer for oversize pistons. I'll never forget that number as long I as roam the Porsche kingdom.

I don't think that will last long Joel.

Hello,
I am very interested in the 16"x7" and 16" x 8" forged flats for $250 including center caps. Please send me some pictures to Litespeeds@hotmail.com when you get a chance. Thanks.
