Yep, new car. Brown interior out and linen almost in. Ashton doesn't take very good pictures but it looks pretty good. He couldn't wait until he got a proper gauge holder for the cubby area...it's on the way. He bought the VDO Cockpit gauge...looks really nice.
Brad, put me down for a plug please. Thanks.

i'd like to wire that sender up into my MPG gauge. i dont use it anyway. its not accurate in the first place, i had the car running wayyy rich for a few weeks and it still would read 30mpg on the freeway even though i was burning gas like no other. its basically the same gauge that the 951's use for boost. the numbers wouldnt make any sense but i would be able to see whats going on. does anyone know the pin-outs for the cluster? my car is a late 85 even though i think they are all the same...

got this universal cubby off ebay for 8 bucks shipped.

it really is a crappy peice....the metal is like playdoh and its all uneven. so it requires some bending (easy to do) and some snipping of the metal tabe so it clears the console trim mount screws. that and some cutting of the left side cause its jsut a hair too long.
then bend the prongs way out so that when its in it wont come out. and if you do need it to come out. just pull on it. lol
spend $30 on the one just for the 944..or do it the campeck way (cause we all know thats the best way ) and buy the $8 one!

the proximity gauges are pretty exspensive. and only measure ditches 5 feet deep.
im thinking more oil pressure ,water temp and then vacuum and A/R in the a pillar.

I spotted these a while back. http://www.42draftdesigns.com/mk4tgp.htm They have quite a few products.
I like this one for $20:
Guages are obviously not included.
