He has all of my footage, I thought he was saying Dan P wanted to put it together though.

You can not even ASK someone to take on such a task. My family put on some of the biggest festivals/parades in our area where the main roads in the town were shut down and packed with people. The largest event had over 10,000 people and 150 vendors. It is A LOT OF WORK!!

I still have 2 very large party tents (think small circus ), which I would be more than happy to bring and setup for such an event. That is about as much as I would be able to offer. . .

I can't think of a privately owned place around here lage enough and can't seem to find change for gas two days before payday. I've been to Wes' place, can you say open country??? Hey Wes, know anyone around you that wants to float some land and take on a big risky crowd of 944 nuts?

944Fest is BY FAR the best car event i've ever been too. It will live on no matter what. As long and there are watercoolers and rennlist there will be a fest.

Andy,
I'll see what I can dig up, i prolly shouldn't mention that my family owns 13acres huh.

Ok. Here's the thing. I do not have the time, money, or space to host 944 fest... and if it's in july next year, I won't be able to attend unless something happens and I don't get accepted into the state patrol academy... or go to a different department... but I digress...

I will however, put in $100.00 when I have the cash, to make sure 944fest goes on. even if I don't attend. It is such a great event. I think if we made it a pay event, we would be able to make it work a little more, get a better venue, etc. etc. etc. we may even be able to buy more than 1 gator! (the only time in my life that I feared for it... note: never gator with a cup of ice in your hand, and attempt to hold on throughout the whole thing...)

So, I vote that we consider making 944fest $50-$100.00 a person, that way it'll releive the financial weight from the host... 944fest '05, I would've happily paid entry for. it was awesome!

What is rather than placing all the responsability on one poor soul, why don't we dibby it up...one person in charge of location, one in charge of beer, one in charge of tents (tedwright), etc...

We would probably need somebody to oversee the whole conglomerate, but that role would really only involve filling in the gaps.

I'd be up for that... I'll be the Colorado Beer Ambassador if I attend!
