I have a very basic Alpine unit in my car, and it blends in alright. Green buttons and LCD, but nothing more. You really don't see too much of it, seeing as how I have an early car and the radio sits 3 inches in front of the shifter.

yeah that pic was RIGHT after i got my car back, someone pushed the hazards too hard and it popped into the dash. Its ok now though.

I have a Pioneer DEH-P3100 (probably sold around 99 or 2000) It looks very nice, and I'm a fan of pioneer. It lights up kinda whitish amberish, sublte, NOT flashy at all. Just bought a DEH-4600 for the civic, its a bit more flashy, but very nice, and a great unit.
