Default WTB: 16x8 Phone Dials, early offset

Shot in the dark here...

I'm looking for a set of 16x8 Phone Dial wheels in the ET23 offset. They were originally installed on the '86 951. I will also buy a staggered (16x7 and 16x8) set.

I prefer wheels in good condition, but will also consider those that need cosmetic refinishing. I'm probably not interested in badly rashed wheels, and definitly not in ones that are dented or untrue.

If you have a set that you'd like to sell, email me or send me a private message. We can figure out the price based on condition.

I saw these browsing eBay last night.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm pretty sure they are late offset as he lists them as ET52.3.

I'm basing my information on this site: http://www.cantonia.com/wheel_offset.html

I think that whatever I end up buying will need the ET23 offset. However, if the part number tells you something different please let me know.

You can use late offset wheels on an early offset hub car. You just need to use spacers.

-Z.

PS: My bro-in-law has a set of 16" early offset phone dials. I'll ask him if he wants to part with them...

Using spacers is my last option.

Appreciated...if he is interested in selling them, send me an email or PM and we'll work out the deal.

Thanks for the tip...I emailed them, so we'll see.

Sometimes the lack of information in wheel auctions is really frustrating!

By the way, Techno, your car is sweet. Sorry to hear about your clutch.

I think im going nuts...i could have sworn that autction last night had a picture of the wheel's part #'s. I looked it up on PET and it was for an early car, 23.3mm offset or whatever it is. Maybe it was a pair of 15-inch wheels i was looking at then.

As for my clutch, its strange. Went for a ride last night and it felt fine. Beats me! Im thinking maybe i just overheated it or something while at the autocross. But its strange as it felt like that even after sitting 2-3 hours.

I have a set with race rubber for sale.

Rubber may be optional.

16x7 / 16x8. Good condition, but re-painted darker than factory.

Drop me a line with your e-mail address and I can send you photos.
