He had a VERY bad case of mistaken smarts. All his knowledge of cars was screwed up and terrible. What's with this negative and positive air flow? Negative air flow? That means air is being sucked out of there

Ok, sorry back on topic. The gains you'll see with an intake like that are minimal, but still there nonetheless. Be careful it's not too near the ground as water can and will splash up onto your filter. The stock air box is restrictive, so I vote for yes on cone filters, but only if it reroutes the filter to the fender area, not attached directly to the afm... The turbo will spool up a bit faster since it doesn't have to suck air in through the stock air maze.
I compute 4 hp lol.
