Crazy, nice car. You may want to consider having the wing painted-it was an offered option, and I've seen Guards Red cars with and without-and with looks great. Having it painted also keeps it looking nice, if you get the car wet water tends to pool on the flat surface-the black plastic is tough to keep spot free, painted works better.

Remember Porsches aren't pre-owned, just pre-loved!
It WAS your car Brett and yes we were a bit crazy for taking that massive roadtrip. Car performed very well on its drive to its new home up North without any problems. It has already been waxed and cleaned. The guys from the local PCA region (Rennsport) have said they've never seen a cleaner 968. They really liked the 20" spinners on it now too!!

1468 miles in just under 20 hours of driving. And no speeding tickets. Not bad I don't think.

Through the grapevine I hear you've got a pre-loved 993 Porsche for your stable. You don't waste your time now do you!!

Chris--very nice looking car. I too just joined the 968 family with a clean 1992 Blk/Blk coupe. 48K miles. I just e-mailed my numbers into Bruce at Excellence last night so you should do the same [you too Jonathan]--it should help keep the values on 968s straight, or at least shed some light on how they are all over the frikken place!

[QUOTE=testarossa_td]Amazing looking car, I would not have had the guts to risk rock chips!QUOTE]

My friend & I shared the driving back. A bra was put on the nose to protect it from rock chips. Absolutely no damage occurred on the way back. We stayed a good distance back from trucks and idiots. Worst thing that happened was a couple of dump trucks hauling sand kept spilling a bit here and there in the other lane. We made sure we weren't behind them at all.

He's going to send in the purchase info to Excellence this week. Right now he's getting the daytime running lights installed as they are required here in the great white north.
