Default Help Please

Well my warning light is still on. I have checked all my fluids and they are all fine. It sat for about a week and a few days maybe. Then i went to start it again and the red warning light was on. Help Please

well my brake pad light is on....but it has always been on cuz like one of the sensors is bad or unhooked or sumthing and the warning light has never been on before....

have you checked to see if the brake pad sensors have shorted, or do you need pads?
There's an awful lot of things that will light the "!" light.

No not yet i am probably going to put it on the lift tomorrow and look at them. I dont understand why it sitting could cause those to short out. And it is getting close to brake pads but the sensors are unhooked so it doesnt matter.

The connector for the parking brake can come loose, but I can't remember if that tells you it's always on or always off.

If memory serves, if the parking brake comes loose the light will be permanently off.

my " ! " is always lit as well along with the warning under the oil pressure gauge. I asked my mechanic about it and he said that it's most likely something inside the dash that would likely cost tons to replace because of all the labor taking it apart. Maybe you have the same gremlins I do.

Yea well i just put in a new instrument cluster but i think i started it up and moved it and the light wasnt on so who knows maybe i have the same problem you do
