Default Auto Shift **** 87 924S

I'm new to Rennlist and I just had a quick question... I'm from Cleveland, OH but currently in Iraq. I recently bought an automatic 87 924s to restore when I get back. I've begun ordering the parts already to restore the interior, I am having a hard time finding a side-button auto shift **** to replace mine. I would go for a top button but I've heard that conversion is almost impossible to do. Any ideas? Thanks again for all your help...

I saw a shift arangement on sleazy-bay that had the shift button on the top, it looked......well....... not my cup of tea but I'm sure there are plenty of takers.

Having rebuilt mine, I dont see why you couldnt swap one out to a top button (ala 77-80 firebird) not sure on the aftermarket ones-
why not just keep the T-bar? take-off replacements were around 10-40$ at Hershey this year- if need be PM me and I'll check it out next April at Hershey for you.

Welcome to Rennlist! Stay safe!
