Hey guys, some of you might remember my post a week or 2 ago about my car not starting (early 85) Today I messed around and got all the wires going to the back of the gauges back together. Car still doesn't start! The plugs smelled like gas but were not wet (nothing rubbed off on my finger) and I'm not getting spark. Any ideas? Car was running fine before I took out the gauges...

thanks
Mike

Hey Mike.. No spark? is the coil good? have you checked the injectors with a noid to see if they are firing? What has changed that may be bad?

Back to the basics of troubleshooting baby.. Start at step 1. My money is on youre forgetting something simple and basic.
I know I usually do.

What all have ya messed with?..............If it ran before messing with it........than mayve it was something you overlooked putting it back together? Otherwise, its a "start at the beginning type diagnoses....spark, fuel, ect. Clark's garage. Good "no start" diagnoses procedure, if I recall. Good luck!
