DC get together or drive feeler post!
I haven't posted this on the 993 board yet, i am just getting an idea.
I know we have the big drive in November, but is there any interest in getting a big 944 get together/drive for September or October? Maybe even a large barbeque/party or something.
Maybe we can celebrate fixing our AC and not needing it anymore!
Any interest?
By the way, i KNOW there are even more 944 people out in my area than i know of on the boards. I keep seeing a light green metallic, and al ight blue one, and two dark blue 944s all over the silver spring area!!!!! Are ya'll on here!!!!!
Oh, and I saw a black turbo or S2 at the fish store the other day! Are you on here? I wanted to stop and say hello but i was with some people and we were in a rush to get back to work!

I'm in central Virginia...Lynchburg... Maybe I'll come up....there doesn't seem to be a lot of Porsches around here... Would love to meet up with the NoVA people sometime

NoVA works fine for me! Actually, ive been having Skyline Drive ideas brewing for some time. Ive wanted to get a big Skyline down through Shendoah run, maybe a 2 day. Its just a lot of planning and organizing, and i havent nearly had the time the last few months to really work this out.
My September weekends just became booked. 2 weekends in October are also booked for me now.
This almost seems like im going to have to wait til the November drive anyways!
Maybe instead of a big half day drive/get together we can just plan an evening or a morning somewhere. It might be easier for a lot of people as well.
