Default Ventura 2005 anyone?

I know there are a couple of other threads in other places, but are there any West Coast front-engined water-pumpers planning on going to this thing? http://www.germanautofest.com/ I think I might finally have a free weekend in SoCal to finally go to a p-car event!

Didn't know about it, thanks for posting it. I could only go on the 11th, if we're voting on a day to make an event out of it...

I'm planning on the 11th as well. There's a 968 contingency in the works -- which is how I found out about it. It'll be good to have a good showing from the 924/944 crowd as well. I'm bringing up my 951 if the TO bearing continues to hold up....

Just be careful with any railroad crossing -- this is the event where the trailer full of 356 got smashed by a train last year!

1st, Are the 968ers meeting up anywhere in particular before hand or at the event?
2nd, Am I/are we non-968 drivers invited to said pre-meet?

10-4 on the railroad crossings That's alot of smashed 356's!

Yea... gas money is starting to hurt...

So I'm not sure what's up with the 968 crowd, yet -- will pass the information on as I find out. But here are their threads:

I'm definitely going -- who's in?

Joe, it looks interesting. I'll have to see how the MAF conversion goes.

Alen, no 44? What happened?

I also put up a thread and nobody seemed to notice or care so I figured I was the only Nor-Cal guy going. I will head down Friday night (not taking the 951). Would be willing to meet up before the event on Saturday or Sunday. Also willing to take passengers if they are willing to share the gas cost.

Yea -- seems like a low level of interest out of the 924/944 crowd. I'm still planning on going on Sunday, if only to see cool cars hanging around. Maybe we'll get more interest after the nice long weekend!
