Default Hesitation between 3000 and 4000 rpm’s

Hello,

I have a '99 996 Cab (65,200 miles) which I use it as a daily driver. I drive about 500 - 600 miles per week but why own the car if you can't drive it. Anyway, last week I noticed that when I accelerate through 3000 rpm's the engine becomes slugish until it gets up past 4000 rpm's and then it kicks in. I am thinking it needs new plugs.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

JAG

I believe the only fix for this is to loan me the car for a week..or just give it to me, that works too :-D

Hi Friday--

This is actually the 944 section of the board (those 'other' watercoolers ). Here's a link to the 996 forum, hopefully someone can help.

Good luck--
