I went an a local Porsche Club Drive.

Meet up with a guy who just got a 996 Cab. He waived to my as we passed each other on the way to meeting place.
Funny he saw my Turbo all he could talk about what that he should not have sold his 87 944 Turbo.

We are actually really compatible with 993 people for some reason! We have 2 annual Rennlist drives down here in the DC area. Its always 993 and 944. Just recently have other cars started filling the ranks a bit. We have the best damn time ever!

The car is not what matters, its the person's mentallity. Sadly, so often someone feels a car like this will cover up their issues. It just exagerates the fact that they need to reevaluate somethings in their life. Honestly, who does someone really think they are spending time touching anothers belongings and cuttin' down on someone else they don't know?

Its ok... what comes around goes around...

Here's the kicker too. I get home today and was BSing with Tammy(she was there as well) I'm like I still can't beleive that guy last night. She said that they were both drunk as ****, sluring and all. The girl drove the car into the GTG, when they left he asked her if she wanted to drive, she replied "I'm too drunk to drive" when they left!! I shoulda pulled his coil wire and left.

I'd have left it there, not connected, but so a drunk person might think it was. They would never figure it out.

Hey XS, tell him to come out to San Diego to the autocrosses. I'll be sure he meets the Spec944 guys as well as the GS class guys, including me. I'm sure I'll make that effer car sick taking him around the track....MONGO-STYLE.

Who was it that won the highest hp at the fest, if he's in the area roll that up, "look at your beater STOCK 951, what a pos." Then challeneg him to a track, once he spins out his car and wrecks it, we can all have a beer, laugh, then pull some parts!!

I had a similar experience with a 928GT owner... he said my engine was "half" what he has an that it was the poor little brother of the 928... then I whooped his car on the track so bad he never looked at me or my car, the mullet didnt shift, he looked straight ahead after that... bwahahahhaha I love whooping 928's.

I came up to a 928 at a light on night. We both had our windows rolled down so I yelled "Hey, nice 928!". To which he replied, "928 S!!!" and looked ahead again. I said "Ah, 944... (motioning to my car). He sternly replied "I know" and looked ahead again. He then left the light a little quick probably just hoping I wanted to race or something...oh well.

Hey XS,
I have a quick story that may make you feel better.
I have this buddy who happens to have an old Firebird. Beater to the max. It is like three colors. We were at a park and this A-hole comes in in some Tuner bling bling car. Acura IIRC. He starts to talk trash to my friend. When my friend walks over to his car this ***** starts in on how fast and nice his Tuner is and says he can beat my friends *** in any race. My buddy reaches in the Firechicken (our nick name for his car) and pulls out his badge. My friend bought the car when he was going through the academy, and says "did you just say you would like to race me?"
Ever see an A-hole swallow his own tounge. That guy could not stop apologizing.
Just goes to show you never know who you are talking SH%! to. Now you car I can guess is far nicer that the Chicken, but kind of the same situation.
Don't let the SOB get to you...
