Only half wet. The stock n/a 944 has a different clutch than the 951. It has a rubber "donut" center and is just not made to take the power.

The good news is that upgrades can be done. But slapping that blower on an otherwise stock 944 will result in much quicker clutch failure.

well my guess is that at the age the cars are at they will have already had the clutch replaced, so no more rubber in the center. my $0.02

How much boost does that thing run? It says it puts out 150 HP but that would have to be a huge compressor. But if you could get everything to work with the SMT-6, fuel injectors and what not, that would QUICK with the lower gearing in the 944 NA!

Yeah, the cats out of the bag.

The only thing that might help me keep that bidding price down is reiterating how much more money this kit will need before you can drive away a 300hp car. And double that $ amount if you don't do your own work, engine tuning/chip burning. This one is really just 1/3rd of a complete kit, being only the mechanical parts and none of the required fuel system upgrades and chip/engine tuning. So please don't bid against me unless you're ready to pay for all that extra stuff. Or bid against me, win it, realize how much more it will cost, put it back up for sale, and sell it to me for less.

Last bump to the top, I promise!

Yea, there just must be a reason why a full blown kit costs like $5K. Sounds like 1/2 of it is missing or something.

as far as the fueling goes, the 928 guys are just using larger injectors, RFPR's and and an SMT6? fuel controller. seems pretty simple, probably pita to get tuned correctly.

Wooooo dawgy! Some hot bidding on this bad boy in the last few minutes. I was hemming and hawing over how much too bid. Didn't matter, the last two bidders took it twice as high as I was willing to go.

Still a good price though, the kit looked to be in great shape when I checked it out in person on yesterday.

If the high bidder was a guy on here, congrats, and good luck on the project.

Oh yeah, the kit closed at $1470!

Still, the original price was in the neighborhood of $5000.
